Happy Easter! Yesterday my wonderful friend Judy and I drove down to Regina for my niece Theresa's wedding. David couldn't go because he's directing a play as a fundraiser for his church.

It was great to see my four sisters (Mary, Shirley, Louise and Brenda), my brother (Malcolm), my siblings' spouses (Larry, Greg and Sandra), my four nieces (Theresa, Leona, Raylene and Tanya) and two of my nephews (Scott and Clifford). I also enjoyed visiting with three nieces' husbands, some great-nieces and great-nephews, and two cousins (George and Cecile).

Judy had met a couple of my family members before, but she was very happy to meet more of them and to see how much fun we have when we get together. On our way back to Saskatoon, we stopped in at Brenda and Greg's place at Regina Beach, where we shared a delicious meal and much laughter.

Gatherings such as Theresa's wedding remind me of how much I appreciate my family.
