Last night on CBC's "ZeD" TV show, the host (Sharon Lewis) mentioned a discussion topic that I had started on ZeD's website (zed.cbc.ca). She didn't mention my name, but it was nice to know that I'm being noticed on the website.

"Our great and glorious masterpiece is to live appropriately. All the other things--ruling, hoarding, building--are only little appendages and props, at most."

I'm currently rated as #11 on CBC's "ZeD" website. There are over 25,000 members, but many aren't very active on the site. You go up in the ratings when you upload content to the site, post comments in discussion groups, rate other members' content, and have people rate your content highly.

If you'd like to help me maintain my high rating, please visit my page on the ZeD website. I've uploaded some of my writing and travel photos. You don't have to register to view content, but you have to if you want to rate content (which would help me maintain my rating). Registering is easy. Thanks!

Last night I participated in a very interesting experiment. A small group of CBC's "ZeD" website's top members from across the country were invited to test the technology that will be used for a special "ZeD Uncut" episode (to be seen on TV and the Internet on March 5). We connected with some of the TV program and website's staff--as well as each other--using our computers and the wonderful webcams that CBC sent us recently. There were some technical glitches that I'm sure CBC will work out, but the "test run" was lots of fun. I especially enjoyed the "ZeD Wall", where you could see images from 16 different people's webcams at the same time. Ah, the wonders of technology!

It seems like George Bush and the Pope have a lot in common. They can't stand anyone who disagrees with them. They think they have the right to control the world. They believe they're infallible. They're against gay rights.
MAYBE THEY SHOULD GET MARRIED!

Last night all but one member of Saskatoon City Council voted to totally demolish the historic Gathercole Building (as opposed to just one wing of it, as earlier planned). Members of the Gathercole Initiative Group (GIG) are planning a petition that would call for a referendum on the issue.

Yesterday I went with my wife and mistress to see a wonderful dinner theatre production in Leask.

OK...maybe I should explain...

I went with the women who played my wife (Cathy Anderson) and sort-of mistress (Laurel Beyer) when I was the lead in "Send Me No Flowers" at Saskatoon's St. Thomas Wesley United Church.

The three of us really enjoyed Frostbite Theatre's performance of "Rumors", written by Neil Simon and directed by David Creelman (who also directed "Send Me No Flowers").
