Last night I participated in a very interesting experiment. A small group of CBC's "ZeD" website's top members from across the country were invited to test the technology that will be used for a special "ZeD Uncut" episode (to be seen on TV and the Internet on March 5). We connected with some of the TV program and website's staff--as well as each other--using our computers and the wonderful webcams that CBC sent us recently. There were some technical glitches that I'm sure CBC will work out, but the "test run" was lots of fun. I especially enjoyed the "ZeD Wall", where you could see images from 16 different people's webcams at the same time. Ah, the wonders of technology!
