This afternoon I'm off to Swift Current, which seems a bit less exotic than my trip last year (Japan, Cambodia, Laos and Burma). I'll be attending a provincial ESL (English as a Second Language) conference.

Today we had our first rehearsal for "Fishing Buddies". It's going to be very funny. Next week we have our first rehearsal for "Dancing Backwards", the other part of our show at this year's Saskatoon Fringe Festival.

I'm busy making more revisions to "Dancing Backwards". CBC Radio in Regina has expressed interest in reading it. Keep your fingers crossed for me. It would be great if I could do a radio adaptation of it for them!

We start rehearsals for "Fishing Buddies" (my short play about Jesus and the Buddha going fishing together, which we will do along with "Dancing Backwards" as a Fringe show in early August in Saskatoon) this Wednesday and will start rehearsing "Dancing Backwards" as soon as I finish revisions.
